SlimFlex is a fine and uniform closed-cell polyurethane foam, which is specially developed for the harsh working conditions of rail transit (flame-retardant and low-volatility series adapts to the vehicle code standard), and is mainly used in scenes such as vehicle interior decoration, on-board electronic control, door sealing, cabinet damping, wiring harness filling, etc. The core features are divided into six categories:

First, long-term anti-fatigue, long-term vibration of the train does not collapse (the core advantage of rail transit)

Ultra-low compression permanent deformation: the residual deformation of conventional model at 25% compression is only 2%~5%, and the high-quality soft model is as low as 0.8%, which is far superior to ordinary EVA and ordinary PU sponge SlimFlex.

The train starts and stops all the year round, and the track bumps are constantly under pressure. After ten years of use, the thickness attenuation is very small, and there will be no seal failure, abnormal noise in the interior and loose electric control components. The rebound recovery rate is more than 95%, and repeated extrusion does not cause edge collapse or permanent depression.

High and low temperature dimensional stability: the vehicle-mounted environment at -20℃~70℃ has no warping, contraction and expansion, and is suitable for the temperature difference change of underground tunnels and open-air elevated buildings.

Second, fine closed-cell structure, strong seal+sound insulation, dustproof and waterproof.

The bubble hole is only 300μm, and it is fine, independent and semi-closed, and the gap filling and sealing are extremely strong. It is used to prevent dust, rain and tunnel dust from invading SlimFlex for doors, windows, access doors and electrical cabinets.

Blocking metal resonance noise: filling the gap between interior sheet metal, control cabinet and air conditioning duct, absorbing the vibration noise transmitted by wheel rail and motor, and improving the quiet comfort of the carriage.

Low water absorption and hydrophobic modification can reach IPX7 waterproof, resist tunnel condensate and car wash spray, and prevent electric control short circuit and metal corrosion.

Third, the rail transit is safe, flame retardant, low volatile and free from secondary pollution (meeting the national standard of urban rail transit).

LO/FR flame retardant special series: UL94 HBF flame retardant grade, slow self-extinguishing of open flame, less smoke and no molten dripping, avoiding the risk of train fire, which conforms to the fire protection code for subway high-speed rail interiors.

Low VOC, low gas evolution: no plasticizer volatilization, no white fog/oil film on the surface of vehicle-mounted display screen, camera and circuit board, protecting precision vehicle-mounted industrial control and signal equipment; There is no peculiar smell in the car, which meets the environmental protection requirements of passenger transport.

No dust falling off: cutting, long-term vibration will not drop debris, and will not pollute air conditioning ducts, contactors and sensors.

Fourth, light and lightweight, adapting to the narrow installation space of the train.

The thickness covers 0.1mm~15mm, and the thinnest PET composite ultra-thin model is 0.1mm, with full coverage of soft and hard density (150 ~ 700 kg/m), giving consideration to both thin sealing and heavy-duty support.

Under the same sealing and shock absorption performance, the thickness is much smaller than that of rubber and ordinary sponge, which is lightweight and reduces the energy consumption of the whole vehicle; It can fit curved surface and special-shaped sheet metal, and adapt to the radian of car door and the filling of special-shaped cavity of equipment.

With its own PET backing, the composite model has its own rigidity, and the thin model is not easy to fold, and the single-sided adhesive is directly bonded after die-cutting, so the field assembly is simple.

Five, strong shock absorption and shock absorption, suitable for on-board electronic control and interior protection

Speed-dependent shock absorption characteristics: low-speed gentle vibration is flexibly buffered, and the rail impact instantly absorbs energy, protecting the vehicle screen, inverter, relay and camera module from bumping damage SlimFlex.

Multi-hardness grading: soft (LE/L series) interior cushion and noise reduction; High-hardness HH/H series is used for anti-skid bearing of equipment base and control cabinet, and the gasket on high-friction anti-skid surface (modified version C) does not slip, and no additional limit buckle is needed.

High tearing and tensile strength: the vibration and friction of the train are not easy to be damaged and cracked, and the service life matches the overhaul cycle of the train.

Six, environmental aging resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance, adapt to the complex working conditions of the tunnel.

Resistant to tunnel oil pollution, condensed acid-base water vapor and detergent corrosion, and does not swell or pulverize after long-term use; Anti-ultraviolet, ozone aging, overhead open-air side window seal does not harden and crack.

The surface can be modified to prevent static electricity, which can be used in high-voltage control cabinets and signal screens to eliminate the hidden danger of electrostatic breakdown of circuit boards.

Strong processing adaptability: die-cutting, adhesive-backed, striping and composite non-woven fabric/film, stable batch processing, extremely small thickness tolerance and high consistency in batch loading.

Typical application scenarios of high-speed rail/subway

Car body: the passenger door, windshield and access door are sealed with buffer strips, and the interior is filled with sheet metal sound insulation;

Vehicle electrical: traction control cabinet, air conditioning electric control, vehicle screen, camera shock-absorbing and dust-proof pad;
